The Indigenous Conservation Council (“ICC”) is an intertribal organization created by the seven federally recognized tribes in what is now known as Virginia. We invite proposals from fundraising consulting firms or experts experienced in raising eight-figure philanthropic capital for Indigenous-led initiatives. The selected consultant will co-design and carry out a feasibility study for a permanent, Native‑led and Native‑controlled fund aimed at supporting rematriation of land and water and supporting Indigenous Guardians programs that supporting duty of care across ancestral territories.



The end result of this fund will be to expand the capacity of Tribal Nations to care for and protect their homelands in the region.
